Dr. Shakuntala V Shah as a Surgical Oncologist possesses 23+ years of experience in the surgical treatment of tumors in the breast, besides performing other surgeries of the breast and other cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Shakuntala V Shah is an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Surgical Oncology and is also the pioneer of the blue dye technique in sentinel node biopsy for breast cancer in Gujarat.
Dr. Shah completed her graduation from Gujarat University, followed by MS (General Surgery).
During her career, she has been lecturer and professor at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, of which she held the position of the HoD for 10 years.
Dr. Shah’s practice as a surgical oncologist includes performing breast tumor removal surgeries, breast augmentation and reduction surgeries, cosmetic surgery and other surgeries and offering other treatments.
