Dr. Gaurav Kumar is a leading pediatric cardiac surgeon with over two decades of experience.
He completed his MBBS and MS from AFMC Pune a DNB in Cardiothoracic surgery for which he was awarded the CS Sadasivan Gold Medal by the National Board.
He trained in neonatal and complex congenital surgery in Australia and has visited fellowships at Hospital for Sick Kids, Toronto, Canada and Children’s National Center, Washington.
He established the Congenital heart Surgery programme at AFMC Pune and Army Hospital Research and Referral New Delhi and was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India.
He has vast experience in surgical repair of complex congenital anomalies like TOF, TGA, ccTGA, Truncus repair, TAPVC repair. He has vast teaching experience and is Professor in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
