Dr. Nishith Chandra is an interventional cardiologist with 21+ years of experience.
He is a member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, life member of Cardiological Society of India and Indian Medical Association and Fellow, Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions (USA).
He completed his training in Critical Care Air Transport from the UK and CRT Device Implantation from NUSCH Hospital Bratislava, Slovakia.
Dr. Chandra received Best Case Award at TCT Asia Pacific Seoul in 2008, Gold Medal in MD in 1990 and Best All Rounder Student of MBBS – 1986.
He has experience in treating patients with complex coronary interventions including Carotid Interventions, Rotablation, Balloon Valvotomy, and Peripheral Vascular Interventions.
He is known for setting up the highly acclaimed Air Ambulance Unit at Escorts Heart Institute that has enabled the transportation of more than 300 sick patients from all over India and neighboring countries.
